The style swerve came just one day after President Donald Trump tweeted allegationsthat Obama had wiretapped Trump Tower prior to the 2016 election (he did not provide any evidence of the claims). Obama's spokesperson patently denied the claims, but White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer issued a statement saying "President Donald J. Trump is requesting that as part of their investigation into Russian activity, the congressional intelligence committees exercise their oversight authority to determine whether executive branch investigative powers were abused in 2016." Obama has yet to reply to the intention to open an investigation, but it seems as if living his best life well may just all the comment he needs.
