I was born in an old mortuary in Vrbov conveniently situated among the cemetery, St Servac church and Father Glatz Rectory
Paddington tends to serve as the centre of the universe in Sydney as its news agencies even stock the rare salmon coloured Financial Times of London and promote Powerhouse Museum exhibitions
Jozo is a great cafe that has an extensive menu full of great dishes and drinks. Their outside courtyard area gives it that special bohemian Antipodean atmosphere
Veronika and Rory highly recommend Jozo cafe not only because it is a nickname for uncle Jozef but it even served Irish infused pork sausages 😇
Jozo aka Jozef is a hidden cafe in Paddington that has both a great outside and inside area for dining as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
Situated on the Corner of Oxford and Lang Street Paddington, Jozo is a stones throw away from the Paddington Gates of Centennial Park. With our fabulous Maple Tree providing a shady spot to sit outside while sipping coffee in the morning or quenching your thirst of an afternoon, it's a unique retreat on Oxford Street. The building boasts over 100 years of history, and was once the Rectory to the neighbouring church. It now seats up to 100 people, for dining or sipping cocktails.
Jozo Paddington takes pride in having an amazing team to serve the community of Paddington and the surrounding suburbs. The staff and patrons are like no other and truly is what makes this cafe and bar the “life on the corner”.
In a nutshell, this bustling café is the sister venue to Scandinavian and Japanese fusion restaurant Sven-San.
It is operated by Paddington culinary main player Michael Bengtsson
