GeraldTon Doctors Making Real Difference

“(W)e should be getting married today but instead... we went to work for you so stay at home for us”

Max Allin, 34, and fiancé Greta Geninson, 31, both doctors, planned to get married on April 11 at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat, south of Sydney.
But the couple instead spent what was supposed to by their wedding day working at the emergency department of Geraldton Regional Hospital in Western Australia, 4,000km from their home in Sydney.

Greta Geninson's wedding dress was designed and custom made for her by her fiancé Max Allin's mother, who works as a bridal wear designer in the UK.
Even the lace was selected specifically for Greta's tastes, and it's safe to say she was looking forward to finally slipping into it for her wedding on April 11.
But yesterday she and Max weren't walking down the aisle, they were pacing the halls of Geraldton Regional Hospital in Western Australia.

University of Sydney researchers have developed a new searchable database that allows people, for the first time, to compare how many COVID-19 cases there are in every NSW postcode with each suburb’s socioeconomic status and age profile.
The database, which draws on data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics and NSW Health, could help inform decisions about how and when social distancing measures are relaxed
