Teensy Trump of Tweets: Put up or shut up! -- Tokhes afn tish!

"One of the powers of Twitter is how quickly journalists, the media, influencers – whoever might be best placed – can actually correct errors and spread true information to counteract misinformation. In some ways the best approach to misinformation is more information and an open dialogue coupled with policy that obviously takes down misinformation." — Oliver Snoddy, Twitter

The shocking tweet is a new low in the ongoing feud between Trump and the two MSNBC anchors, who were often friendly with the Republican presidential candidate during the campaign before their show grew increasingly critical of his policies... Donald Trump lashes out

A segment on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in which co-host Mika Brzezinski said President Donald Trump was “destroying the country” might have been what led Trump to attack her viciously on Twitter on Thursday morning.

The segment took aim at a fake Time magazine cover featuring Trump that reportedly hangs at a number of Trump’s golf clubs and properties, according to The Washington Post.

“Nothing makes a man feel better than making a fake cover of a magazine about himself, lying every day, and destroying the country,” Brzezinski said.
Brzezinski also noted that on the fake Time cover, Trump was covering his hands “because they’re teensy.”

Mr Trump also received a boost from one of his stalwart defenders, Sean Hannity of Fox News, who suggested that the president's remarks about Scarborough were justified. "Maybe liberal Joe should stop calling the @POTUS a schmuck, a liar, a thug and mentally unhinged," Hannity wrote on Twitter.

I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

WHITE HOUSE DEFENDS TRUMP TWEET ATTACKING “LOW I.Q.” FEMALE JOURNALIST FOR “BLEEDING BADLYMika Brzezinski ... Donald Trump, who promised on the campaign trail to give up Twitter because it’s “not presidential,” on Thursday used the social-media platform to launch an ugly attack onMika Brzezinski, who along with Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough, has been a consistent critic of his administration. “I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore),” he wrote. “Then how come low I.Q.  Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”

A spokeswoman for the president said he “will not be allowed to be bullied by liberal media.”

Germany's Merkel ready to confront Trump over Paris climate deal

Despite attempting to improve relations with the Trump administration by extending an olive branch to Ivanka Trump, Merkel was clearly unsettled by her NATO meeting with Trump last month. The chancellor’s takeaway from that  summit, she said in Munich days later, was that Germany and Europe “must take our fate into our own hands,” given that old alliances with the U.S. can clearly no longer be relied upon. Relations have only deteriorated from there: on Tuesday, Merkel stood by while organizers at an event she was hosting cut a video feed of Commerce SecretaryWilbur Ross, abruptly ending his long-winded rant about German trade policy, mid-speech. Taking the mic herself, Merkel hit back at the administration’s repeated claims that the U.S. gets a raw deal when it comes to trade with Germany,by schooling the president with some cold, hard, German-engineered facts.
