A Friday before Easter on 27 March 2015 MMXV - Observations - Peter's and Lorraine's last week away on their epic trip around Australia.
We decided to finish in a free camp at the sports field in Jamberoo, a pretty little village with a lovely old pub c1857. Another amazing green valley with a backdrop of the Great Dividing Range.
I came here 25 years ago for a conference when I was working at Abbott and stayed at what is now called The Jamberoo Valley Lodge. I remember it was run by a German couple. A local told us it has been bought out by the Chinese. Good Lord how do they find these places!!!
Decided to go to the pub for dinner but chose poorly ordering the $10 Cheese Burger Special. Bad choice although the chips were great.
The local hall across from the football oval was in full swing when we returned. Loud music and teenage screaming which continued until midnight. Luckily non of them ventured over to our side of the oval.
