Two volunteer firefighters killed in truck rollover in Buxton

'This hurts everyone to the core': Two fathers killed fighting fires

The two volunteer firefighters killed in Buxton last night have been named by the NSW Rural Fire Service as Geoffrey Keaton, 32 and Andrew O'Dwyer, 36.
The men, who served with the Horsley Park RFS, each leave behind a young child. Mr Keaton's father was also out fighting fires at Gospers Mountain yesterday.
"This hurts everyone to the core," RFS Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons said.
Mr Keaton joined the RFS in 2006 and was the deputy captain of the Horsley Park brigade and had previously volunteered with the RFS at Plumpton.
