A suicide car bomb attack on a crowd of people in the town of Hilla, south of Baghdad, killed 105 people and wounded 130, the town's health directorate said. The toll makes the blast the single deadliest attack since the fall of Saddam Hussein. An Iraqi Red Crescent spokeswoman in Baghdad told Reuters: "We are sending an emergency load of medicine and doctors to Hilla right now."
