Heros A Question of Genius

Next week, Tasmanian author Richard Flanagan will receive the Commonwealth Writers Prize for what the judges called a work of genius. But his name is in the news for another reason. An ardent conservationist, he's boycotting the Southern Hemisphere's richest literary contest, the Tasmanian Pacific Region Fiction Prize, because it's sponsored by Forestry Tasmania.
