From Sunday to Tuesday, Eyes to the Sea, a superb exhibition of photographs by Steve Turner will be on display at The Cottage, 15 Pine Avenue Little Bay.

Steve is an award winning professional photographer, a surfer and a lover of the outdoors.

His exhibition focuses in part on surfing - particularly big wave surfing - with spectacular images of leading local board riders tackling extreme conditions at Maroubra and Wedding Cake Island.

This exhibition is also a homage to our coastline - from Clovelly to La Perouse - that Steve has walked and photographed while living at Prince Henry in recent years, and features photographs of this spectacular environment in storm and calm, cloud and sunshine.

Please visit The Cottage sometime on Sunday 15 - Tuesday 17 December between 10 AM and 4 PM to view Steve's magnificent images of our part of the world.

I also won’t pretend to understand why in the middle of the night some of the deep and stirring quotes and manifestos came to me. Why do I oppose communism and fascism?
