Technology increases the ability of people to share, but will they share more than just technology? The economics of sharing

The Blog, The Press, The Media: Break-Neck-Paced Blogosphere Vetting
So in addition to the hyprocrisy and sex thing, we've got the hypocrisy and gay thing. This is not about gay or straight, Bear Pit or Sand Pit, Usher of the Black Rod or Sergent-at-Arms (sic), this is about labour or liberal; liberal or conservative Just imagine if some guy with alleged ties to male prostitution were given unprecendented access to the White House, and given a White House press pass that didn't even have his real name on it, in order to throw fake softball questions at the press briefings to help make the president look good

Why should we care about Jeff Gannon? A potential male prostitute gets White House credentials using a fake name, provides McClellan a welcome ideological lifeline during press conferences, and somehow gets access to classified CIA documents that outs an undercover CIA operative.

How did a man with no known journalism experience get repeated White House press room access, where he denounced Democratic leaders at press conferences and loudly supported President Bush?

• · · · · · The Jeff Gannon saga took an ugly turn. Gannon, you may recall, was the White House reporter of questionable bona fides—apparently a Republican operative whose main role was to ask friendly questions of the president and his spokespeople, a countervailing force to what the Bush administration plainly believes is an overwhelmingly liberal White House press corps. ’Reporter’ Gannon is Gone ; When Media Dragon domain expires and changes hands, Google can now more easily find, scan and index the new site ; Kottke noticed that Google switched their Dictionary.com link to an Answers.com linkHow does he always noticed things like this before anyone else?; Cherry-picking by David Forrest Google is going to a $1 trillion market cap (Disclaimer: Media Dragon is a major investor in Google ;-)
