ASIO is riding high and in the best shape in its 60-year history, according to its outgoing chief Paul O'Sullivan.
Mr O'Sullivan, who relinquished the top job at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation last weekend to take up a senior diplomatic post, said the big investment in the organisation since 2001 had put ASIO on the "front foot" for the first time in a long while.
