Bloggers have lost jobs, friends, and even spouses over things they revealed in their journals. Bloggers have to make the conscious decision from the start that what they write today may come back to haunt them tomorrow, and be OK with that choice. That’s the warning from one of the best veteran bloggers. They share their tips and experiences.

What is the state of Australian blogging? Trevor Cook notes that overall, he is 'pretty bullish about the state of blogging and podcasting in Australia.’

This is a difficult question to answer - it goes to the heart of what blogging is about (fat heads vs long tails, media rivals or new ways to fill gaps in the landscape and so on), it is hard to get evidence of how many Australian blogs there are because a lot of people use US services (blogger, typepad etc) and it hard to judge the influence and impact of blogging in Australia....
