Operation Ironside announcement

Aussie cops convinced “influencers” who could get others to use the AN0M app where their secret networks were finally exposed.

It has been reported that more 100 people have been charged, 3366kg of drugs, $35.8m in cash seized and 72 firearms confiscated in Australia already with numbers expected to increase dramatically with 4000 police raiding properties across Australia today.

Australian Police said they had been monitoring a Trojan horse app being used by crime gangs to plan executions, mass drug importations, money laundering and gun running.

Police intercepted, descrambled and read 25 million messages sent on devices using the app.

Australian Detective Superintendent Des Appleby told The Courier Mail that police had been secretly listening to the deepest secrets of underworld figures and drug lords for almost three years.

“I think they’ll be shocked to their core that they’ve been stooged this badly. All their thoughts and plans, schemes, and they’re all in the hands of the police,” said Appleby

One wonders how many stolen and manufactured identities were used by the criminals to set up bank accounts
