The best biscuits in 1980s and early 1990s where at St James Street ( a tiniest of lanes) at Woollahra as Leo Schofield mum would often invite me to taste her sweets 🧁...


Bank in 1982 I used to share accommodation with Leo’s uncle George and Jean’s desserts were always the highlight at Croydon 64 Bay Road ...


Today I came across a soulful snippet about Jean Dorman aka Schofield and her cheeky disposition.



Earlier extract on Dorman who are related to Arthur Dorman who was part of the company Dorman and Long that built the Sydney Harbour Bridge. 


George Dorman took many images of the bridge and the railways that his grandfather and uncle built in NSW.
