Senator CAMERON: I've got news for you, Chair: I will be asking questions consistent with my right as a senator and consistent with the Constitution. 
Senator CAMERON: I want to indicate that we will not be accepting the position that the committee has adopted. As individual senators and as a party, we object to what is being done. There is a clear cover-up going on in relation to this. This is, in my view, not only a breach of the Constitution and of the constitutional rights that we have as senators, it's a breach of Odgers' and a breach of decisions and advice that we've received in the past from both the former Clerk, Rosemary Laing, and the current Clerk, Mr Pye. So we are not prepared to accept a position that gags proper and legitimate questions of the minister.
