Being located away from the beachside strip at Bronte has not done any harm to this cute little restaurant, which has firmly established a reputation as one of the seaside suburb's top nosheries.
The soft light of candles spills out onto the street and illuminates the tables of mostly couples and small groups. The gentle light lends the rustic old space a certain romance, making the yellow walls glow and transforming the tiny space from cramped to intimate. The menu is modern Australian, but sets itself apart with a Creole touch.
