Sutherland Shire and the rest of our reading world:
According to the local newspaper the Leader (no link), Six sexy shire librarians will soon rule world's reading scene... Amy White, Kristy Wright, Brian Jones, Michael Dahl, Georgina Konstanta and Jeanette Dean have stepped up training for the marathon read to be held at Sutherland Shire Council Library from 9 am on Monday 24 May 2004. The current Guinness Book of Record mark is 75 hours clocked up by German school librarians last year.
Punchbowl: Liberals' new branch masters art of the stack, the stoush and the all-in brawl
