Late for work, and probably late home too
Sydney's hapless rail commuters faced more problems yesterday with abrupt train cancellations, crowded platforms and the sinking realisation that things will only get worse.
Emily Liddicoat, a legal secretary from Waterfall, said she had intended to travel from Waterfall to the city on the 7.41am service, but the cancellation meant she had to drive to Sutherland Station to catch another train.
